The news is out all over town. Union Station’s revitalization is completed. The final cost for the project, which began in 2010, was $824-million — an increase from the original budget of $640-million. The project has not only restored this national historic site from 1927, but has made some of it a place to go shopping. Union Station has also tripled the size of the GO suburban transit space. The VIA Concourse and Panorama Lounge have been renovated, and there are now two new bicycle stations. No doubt this is Canada’s finest.
