WHEN CARRIED BY THE ARMED FORCES, OUR FLAG IS NEVER LOWERED OR DIPPED TO THE GROUND

The colour is meant to symbolize hope and prosperity, as well as peace, tranquility and neutrality. The maple leaf design represents the cultural heritage and natural resources of Canada. “Dipping of the National Flag is not permitted under any circumstances by Canadian Armed Forces personnel.” – <Government of Canada>On this Remembrance Day we could salute, or at least appreciate all that this emblem has brought to us. In 2020 I’ve never felt more privileged living beneath the red -and-white Sugar Maple.
