Curiosity overcoming fear.  A promising child.” – <‘Child With Two Adults’, 1983, Mary Pratt>Ms. Pratt’s choice of subject matter often centered on the kitchen and food of one kind or another. They became extraordinary works of colour and beauty. Many of them were totally mouth watering. <PHOTO ABOVE – a postage stamp featuring Mary Pratt’s “Jelly Shelf”, 1999>.She died in St. John’s, Newfoundland on August 14, 2018, at the age of 83.
