James and Louise Temerty have given the largest single gift in Canadian history to the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine. For more than a century, U of T Medicine, along with its partner hospitals have led the world in advancing human health and health care through groundbreaking discovery and innovation. The Faculty is ranked number one in Canada and among the best in the world. The Temerty Faculty of Medicine will feature a Centre for A.I. Research and education in medicine, burseries for needy students, more funding for hospital partners, and a new building on the University’s St. George Campus in downtown TORONTO. The goal – to capitalize on the U of T’s strengths and support ideas that will help people improve their health, well-being, and live longer.
