lalaland1Movie musicals are back! ‘La La Land’, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, took the top prize at the Toronto International Film Festival and will hit the theatres in December. Director DAMIEN CHAZELLE’s film was chosen for the People’s Choice Award/2016.

gtairways2Greater Toronto Airways has begun regular commuter service between Niagara District Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Flights depart NIAGARA at 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.; from TORONTO at 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Additional runs and weekend service may be in the offing.

condos1TORONTO’s condominium sector is soaring. 17,949 high-rise sales between January and August this year – up 33% over the same period last year. These high-rise numbers come as the supply of new low-rise homes has dwindled too a 10-year low.

The supply of condo units has decreased from a year ago, particularly in pre-construction sales. 14,000 apartments were available in August, about 10,000 fewer than in 2015.
