<Peddling chickens, Chinatown TORONTO, 1926>  Living and working in TORONTO’s Chinatown (behind today’s New City Hall) wasn’t exactly posh by the looks of these pictures taken in 1923-26. Today this neighbourhood has become multi-cultural with a mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai shops & restaurants.
