The Queen Street Viaduct is one of a few steel Truss bridges in TORONTO. The bridge spans the Don River, and provides a gateway to Riverside, a neighbourhood within walking distance of the Pan Am Parapan Am athlete’s village and the Distillery District.
The public art on both the bridge and Queen Street East was created in 1996 by artist and novelist ELDON GARNET. Eldon is represented by the Christopher Cutts Gallery in TORONTO and the Torch Gallery, AMSTERDAM.
