GO Transit launches ‘Quiet Zones’ on its double-decker trains

GOTRANSIT1GO Transit, TORONTO’s suburban rail network, is turning down the volume on the upper deck of its northbound commuter trains.  Beginning on February 11, signs will be posted to indicate low-volume areas – which means muted cellphones, tablets, laptops and earphones.

Meanwhile, GO Transit’s glass-topped commuter terminal is shaping up at UNION STATION.  Much improved platforms, signaling systems, and access to the subway are in the works.  Way to GO!
